Calvert Kielder

Calvert Kielder exists to lead the way towards a more inclusive and accessible society. Based in the stunning surroundings of Kielder Forest Park, we offer fully accessible adventure breaks and specialist respite care for disabled children, adults and their families.

Because society does not always recognise the challenges, or the potential, of disabled people and their families, we create a place where everyone can restore, refresh and re-centre. Here, people are free to be themselves, to learn, to be challenged, and to thrive without judgement.

West Northumberland Food Bank

Our vision is a community where no one faces food insecurity. Through our Helpline staffed by volunteers who provide much needed information, support and Hardship Awards, our Food Bank volunteer team making year round doorstep deliveries of food parcels, and our One to One Outreach support in the community, we provide a lifeline of practical help to households experiencing poverty in over 50 towns and villages throughout West Northumberland.
