Please follow our rules to ensure that everyone can have a great time.

Beer festival rules

  • All purchases of food and drink must be made with tokens – no cash will be accepted. Tokens will be available at all times for purchase. Tokens are non-refundable.
  • No drinks will be served after 11.00 pm.
  • No alcoholic drinks will be served to anyone appearing to be under 18 unless proof of age can be given.
  • No alcoholic drinks will be served to anyone suspected of being drunk or to anyone attempting to purchase for persons suspected of being drunk.
  • Don’t drink and drive. Designate a driver for the night – non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
  • Please help us keep the place clean by using the litter facilities.
  • Dogs (except guide dogs) are not allowed in the marques but are allowed outside at the festival.
  • Use the designated car parking areas in the park and not the approach roads. Parking is free of charge.

campsite rules & safety advice

  • You are advised to pitch your tent no closer than 6m to the nearest tent for fire safety.
  • Children are to be supervised at all times, as there is a river and railway line in close proximity to Tynedale Park.
  • Please make sure that you do not leave glass, tent pegs or other items on the grass, remember rugby and football players use the grounds.
  • Do not make open fires or use instant BBQ’s on the grass.
  • Flammable liquids should not be brought onto the campsite.
  • Always keep your dogs under control and on a lead, remove any fouling and dispose of responsibly.
  • Tidy your site when you leave, please take rubbish home with you or use the bins or skip.
  • Please show consideration for other campers and local residents by not causing noise, playing radios/music loudly, etc. If a camper does not show consideration, the Club reserves the right to cancel their booking at which point they will have to leave the campsite. No refund of campsite fees will be made.
  • There is a speed limit of 15 mph within the club grounds. Please do not exceed this limit and keep to the designated vehicle areas.

Safety in tents

  • Never use candles or oil burning appliances in or near a tent, torches are much safer.
  • Cooking appliances should not be used in tents.
  • Do not smoke inside tents.
  • Have an escape plan, and be prepared to cut your way out of the tent if there is a fire.
  • Make sure everyone knows how to put out a clothing fire – stop, drop and roll.
  • Tynedale Rugby Football Club Ltd. accepts no liability for personal injury, damage to property or other loss, save for its legal obligations.
