Tynedale Rugby Football Club, founded in 1876, and its 1st XV play in the third tier of English national rugby, National League 1. This is a tremendous achievement for an amateur club. Please see our web site for information about our club.
We have two other senior teams, the Raiders and the Centurions, who play in Divisions 1 and 2 respectively, of the Candy League. Our Junior Section is well renowned with provision for youngsters aged five years and up, every Sunday from September to April. Again, for more information see our web site.

As a club we rely heavily on our volunteers and we would like to thank all those involved in the both the planning and execution of the Beer Festival – it takes 12 months to plan for these three days!
