A crystal-clear pale ale with a Mosaic hop punch which gives tropical aroma and flavours.
Mad Jack Ha’ (or Mad Jack Hall) is our session IPA, a little moreish 3.8% with Mosaic hops.
MJH was born a couple of miles from the brewery at Otterburn Hall (now Otterburn Castle), he was a Justice of Peace in Northumberland, a Jacobite leader and a major figure in the Jacobite rising of 1715 (for which he was beheaded, or hung, drawn and quartered according to some accounts – poor chap!).
