Ouseburn Valley

In October 2010 Ouseburn Valley Brewery started commercially brewing in owner Nigel’s garage. The kit is still there and is still used to produce bespoke beers and for experimental brewing. Most of the beer went locally to the Brandling Villa where landlord Dave Carr has been a great supporter.Over the next 9 months several new beers were developed.

In April 2011 work began on the new brewery in the basement of the Brandling Villa. The Brewery itself was purchased from Oban Ales in Scotland and was delivered in April but not actually fitted until the end of May.

They have a refreshing range of beers, ales, porters and stouts, and love to hear what you think of them.If you live in the North East then you’re in luck, Ouseburn Valley Brewery beer can be found in over 60 pubs.
