In 2017 we will have even more Street Food stalls so that you can have some fantastic foods to go with the beers, ciders and wines.
The catering will be available throughout the opening hours of the festival. One of our caterers will also be providing cooked breakfasts for campers on the Saturday and Sunday mornings from approx. 8-10:30am.
In the covered food court we will have two new caterers for 2017. We all know how well curry goes with beer so we are pleased to welcome Tandoori Naan Hut. who will be joining us this year! They have created a spicy storm across some of the biggest food festivals across the North East, Yorkshire and Northumberland. Promising to enhance the taste buds to a new level, Tandoori Naan Hut brings together generations of traditional Punjabi cuisine. A fresh Tandoori Naan filled with a choice of Punjabi Masala Chicken, Sheesh Lamb Kebabs or Aloo Chana Chaat (vegan). They guarantee a mouth-watering experience you won’t forget by complementing their dishes with Indian salad mix, mango chutney, mint raitha, pickled red cabbage and fresh coriander.
If you have a sweet tooth, also new for 2017 is Simply Cheesecake. They will have a selection of lovely cheesecakes which we are sure will go down well at the festival.
We will also be welcoming back Lukasz with his Polish BBQ. With Smoked sausages, pork and chicken kebabs sizzling away, this was again a great hit last year.
Also joining us again will be Michelle and her team from Kielder Organic Meats. More mouthwatering food to go with your beer, cider or wine, including burgers, bacon or beef rolls and chips – if you need a few more carbs!
We are pleased to announce that Papa Ganoush will also be back in 2017. “Papa Ganoush is a family run Middle Eastern Street food business that has been evolving over a number of years. We have cooked our take on Indian and Middle Eastern food for years, and we emphasis “take” because that’s all of us ever do really. We develop our style from Turkey to Israel and put a western touch to it all”.
Returning also will be Northern Wilds with their wood fired pizza oven. Delicious freshly cooked pizzas are always great with a glass of beer!
Tynedale RFC’s caterers (Lucy Blaylock Catering) will be running a Salad bar with Vegetarian and Gluten Free options.
Vegetarian Food – our caterers will be providing vegetarian options.
All food must be purchased with tokens.
PLEASE NOTE: You are not permitted to bring your own food or alcoholic beverages into the festival. Anybody breaching this rule will be politely asked to hand over such items, which will be returned when you leave the festival. Thank you for your understanding.
