The Boathouse Inn, Station Road, Wylam.
The Boathouse is a traditional pub, with low-beamed ceilings and a dark wood bar decorated with tankards, pump-clips, and paintings.
We have 15 handpulls, 3 of these are dedicated to cider (further ciders from cellar). Our dozen featured beers are sourced nationally and from a variety of North-East breweries including Hadrian & Border, Mordues, Durham, High House Farm, Big Lamp, and Stables. Every Bank holiday we have a themed beer festival. We are CAMRA 2014 Southwest Northumberland pub of the year and cider pub of the year.
The restaurant is in a separate room which is cosy and welcoming, with traditional home-cooked ‘hearty’ food. Lunches are available, and don’t forget, our very popular Sunday lunches. Pie’s & mushy peas, sandwiches and toasties are available in the bar.
Whether you have a passion for real ale, real cider, whiskey, wine, or fizzy lager, there is always something for everyone here.
