TYNEDALE BEER Festival 2008 has been a sell out!

All the tickets for Friday night were sold and the beer was nearly all gone by the end - we had nine left.

The bands were on top form, the weather was kind to us and everyone had a great time. Once we have paid the bills there should be a very generous contribution to a main charities - the Great North Air Ambulance and Josie's Dragonfly Trust. For more details of these very worthwhile causes go to the Charities page.

There will be plenty of that as well as cider, wine and soft drinks. For the real ale and cider lovers you can see in the beer list what will be on offer at the 2008 festival. There will be 105 beers this year and at least seven ciders. The list has changed since it was first published due to lack of availability of some beers. But this is beyond our control as the breweries keep changing what's on offer.

There's no excuse for going hungry at our beer festival. There's always plenty of grub to soak up the drink. The best beef burgers from the barbecue, wide range of sandwiches and loads of chips. All freshly prepared and cooked.

Despite the rain our faithful supporters and many others turned up to sample the beers, ciders and other drinks, lots of food and great bands. If you missed it, then you must come this year. If you were there, we hope you enjoyed yourself and will join us again. (more)
