How to find the Beer Festival

The event takes place at Tynedale Rugby Club, Tynedale Park, Station Road, Corbridge, Northumberland, NE45 5AY.

The bridge over the Tyne at Corbridge

  Getting there

By car: Corbridge is just off the A69 which runs east-west from Newcastle upon Tyne to Carlisle, and the A68 which runs north-south from Edinburgh to Darlington. The rugby ground is on the south side of the river Tyne just outside the village.

By train: There is a good service between Newcastle and Carlisle stopping at Corbridge. The station is right outside the rugby ground. Train timetable

By air: Newcastle International Airport is about 20 miles from Corbridge. There is a frequent Metro train service into Newcastle Central Station from where you can take the train to Corbridge.

Northumberland is the most tranquil area in England and Wales – but not all the time!

If you are not local to this area, then our next beer festival would be the perfect reason to have a holiday in a beautiful and historic area of Britain. There is lots to see and do - too much for us to include in this site but there are plenty of links for you to check out.

Tynedale is famous for its great beauty and history. It contains the Northumberland National Park and, of course, Hadrian's Wall, one the most famous landmarks in Britain. It is bordered to the south by the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and to the north by Kielder Forest Park.
