Tynedale
Beer Festival is a joint venture between
Tynedale Lions Club and
Tynedale Rugby Football Club. Its
purpose is to raise money for good causes. The event is
organized by a committee representing both clubs. The organizing
team and helpers are all volunteers who give their time and
effort free of charge to ensure the festival is a success.
The festival
started in a modest way in 2002. Since then it has grown in size
and popularity, raising nearly £160,000 in the process.
Although this is not a CAMRA beer
festival, we do receive a lot of help from members of the
local branch and are
very grateful to them. |
